15.30 Simulations: Fantasy based on reality with Sam & Courtney. The opportunity to run through a variety of scenarios and work through the RECOVER Algorithm.

Learning Outcomes:
  • An understanding of what cognitive aids are and how they support us during both anaesthesia and CPR.
  • The ability to identify when capnography parameters are abnormal, what that may indicate and when to worry.
  • The ability to identify a normal ECG, spot the abnormal rhythms and know when to seek help
  • A solid knowledge of the latest evidence CPR based guidelines
  • Confidence with applying the guidelines to scenarios that you may see in practice.
