The come and join us in March for an innovative training weekend. Together with fellow CPR enthusiasts you will be given the tools and resources needed to set up and deliver your own CPR training within your practice.

Not only will you be given the tools needed to share your CPR knowledge and promote high quality CPR within your teams you will also be a certified RECOVER Rescuer. The weekend will be hosted by Sam, a certified RECOVER Instructor, qualified teacher and assessor and established veterinary educator. She has years of experience teaching and training, plus she established the CPR training provision in a large multidisciplinary referral hospital.

What will we cover?

Through a range of teaching methods, we will cover:

  • Establishing your baseline with your team
  • Planning for spread and embedding into your team
  • How to run a simulation including debriefing
  • Tips for developing learners’ theoretical knowledge
  • Common pitfalls when training
  • Building a simulation pack
  • Ensuring evidence-based CPR becomes part of your practice culture
  • How human factors impact CPR
PLUS Recover Rescuer Certification

  • Accommodation in luxury converted barn with ensuite
  • All meals, lunch and dinner prepared by our chef

  • RECOVER Registration fees
  • Wellness sessions, including yoga
  • All teaching sessions

Price does not include RECOVER online course completion, which is mandatory, but discount code is provided. Alcoholic drinks are also not included but please do bring your own. Whilst we have a chef the accommodation is self-catering so you can prepare snacks etc at your leisure.

Our venue is the incredible Cotswold Park Barns. Beautifully converted and with an excellent attention to detail the accommodation is truly special. Surrounded by glorious countryside this is the place to completely disconnect from the day to day of life. Ample free parking and incredible views, this is a unique place to rest, recharge and learn. Trust us when we say this really is a place to connect with fellow professionals, as much or as little as you want.

 

Recover Rescuer certification

Successful attendees will gain the RECOVER Rescuer certification, a globally recognised CPR certificate.

It’s not all walks, yoga, and yummy food though. This is where you will build your confidence with CPR. Where you can really explore how to communicate with your team, deliver CPR effectively and leave feeling empowered to spread your newly established confidence!

If you wish to bring a partner, then we also offer reduced rates for partners/friends that include all meals and accommodation. We have a limited amount of twin rooms for those that wish to share the cost.
