VetMed CPR- Solid Foundations
The original team training offering and in our opinion the best! Carried out in 2-hour sessions with groups of no more than 6 per group, this training allows hands on experience for everyone and plenty of time for discussion. The sessions are designed for the whole practice team, receptionist to veterinary surgeon. The best way to establish really solid CPR foundations. A strong focus on basic life support (BLS) and with an introduction to advanced life support.
Complemented by the monthly webinars and all practices receive a copy of the RECOVER Algorithm
- The theory of BLS is covered
- Every attendee gets hands on time on the CPR Cube to perfect their compression technique
- All attendees participate in a BLS scenario, including the use of a resuscitator bag.
- ALS is introduced and the RECOVER algorithm discussed.
- All attendees participate in a simulation in a clinical area of their choice.
- E-Book of detailed notes following the session
- Discount code for RECOVER Courses.
- Digital Certificates for each participant.

VetMed CPR- Clinical Refresh
For larger groups of clinical team members only. A 2.5-hour session for the entire clinical team. This is the most cost and time efficient way to train a group with some existing CPR knowledge. All BLS theory is refreshed with simulations to summarise. Ideal for an evening CPD Session or ‘Lunch and Learn’
We are also happy to provide a live webinar.
For those practices that have had ‘Solid foundations’ with us this refresher is also offered with a focus on ALS. Perfect for keeping everyone up to date and ensuring they are confident with their life saving skills.
- The theory of BLS is covered
- ALS is introduced and the RECOVER algorithm discussed.
